The story, briefly.
CrediGuest was built inside a working short-term rental business, born from the gap every host knows: booking platforms verify a card, not a person, and "protection" means weeks of claims admin for an uncertain outcome. We built the tool we wished existed, verification before check-in, real protection on every booking, and claims that settle in days, then opened it to every host who feels the same.
We started life as LekkerGuest. As hosts outside South Africa joined, we needed a name that carries the same meaning everywhere: credible guests, protected hosts. That's the standard, for guests and for us.
Who is behind it
CrediGuest is founded and led by Dean McLuckie, founder and director of Euphoric Leisure, a short-term rental management company in South Africa. Euphoric Leisure was the first customer and still runs all its bookings through CrediGuest.
Who operates it
CrediGuest is a trading name of Just Be Lekker Inc. (Delaware, USA), with intellectual property held by Just Be Lekker Pte. Ltd. (Singapore). Payments and card storage run on Stripe; CrediGuest never sees your card number.
